THE FUN CHRISTMAS 2021 BOOKS TO ADD TO YOUR SEASONAL READING

by

It’s not in my nature to be immediately all Christmas-y following October 31. I still love fall and the colors, and of course, Thanksgiving. However, as someone who does what I do, I know that putting out seasonal content has a shelf life and a certain timeline is expected. So, without further ado, today we look at the Christmas fiction 2021 that you might be interested in reading.

FILM REVIEW | ‘NORTHANGER ABBEY’: THE BETTER VERSION OF THE FANCIFUL JANE AUSTEN ROMANCE

Of course, like any list that appears here, this won’t be all inclusive. They’ll be a wide variety in spite of this, and my focus will, as usual, be on the 2021 books set to release! With all of that said, let’s take a look at the Christmas fiction of 2021 – and maybe introduce you to something new that sounds and looks cozy!

CHRISTMAS FICTION 2021

1: SO, THIS IS CHRISTMAS, TRACY ANDREEN

This book sounds super cute! I love the cover (just fun and colorful) and the plot follows a girl who decides to go home for Christmas where she finds one of her classmates also in her hometown; a classmate she believes is a Brit who doesn’t like her. Goodreads

2: THE SANTA SUIT, MARY KAY ANDREWS

Looking for a change, Ivy buys an old farmhouse, sight unseen. What she didn’t realize is just how BIT a “labor of love” this house would be. Goodreads

3: THE MISTLETOE COUNTESS, PEPPER D. BASHAM

A kind of “marriage of convenience” story, this historical fiction title sounds all kinds of swoony for those that like reading about Lords and the women who steal their hearts. Goodreads

Adding this one because it’s a re-release in 2021 with a new, whimsical cover! Tells the story of a reunion romance between a girl and a prince…! Goodreads

9: KISS THE GIRL, MELANIE JACOBSON

Tells the story of a 20-something girl who is ready to leave her small town behind, and not even the allure of a new arrival in the new high school coach can keep her here. Or can he? Goodreads

    1. Thanks for checking the list out! It was fun to put together – despite the fact that I also do these things last minute. Someday I’ll get things together. ;)

  1. So many great recommendations in one post! I’ve read and enjoyed The Holiday Swap, Eight Perfect Hours (one of my faves for the year), and Always, In December! But be forewarned that Always, In December is not a typical holiday romance. It received four and a half stars from me, but it’s better to go into it knowing it’s not the usual romance formula. :) Several more of these are on my TBR and I added Cross-Country Christmas. I love road-trip romances! Thanks for sharing. <3

    1. This is definitely good to know – thank you, Dedra. I always like to know what’s to come especially if its a book I think will be a cozy romance. :) Appreciate you visiting and sharing your favorites. I anticipate reading SOME of these, though not all because I’d never get through them all. ;) Good to hear your favorites AND I hope you enjoy Cross Country Christmas.

  2. I read and loved the ones by Courtney Walsh and Becky Wade, planning to read Jennifer Peel’s, Pepper Basham’s and Melanie Jacobson’s, and checking out the others on Goodreads!
