NEW ‘PIRATE’ BOOTS?
Have you seen or heard the rumor that Pirates of the Caribbean will get a re-boot? I certainly had not, but this week I read a story that sounds like it possibly will. In the story, there’s reports that there is a script or a form of one. Developed by Craig Mazin and original writer, Ted Elliot penning a script, the script has reportedly already been seen by Disney who “bought” it; Mazin says he was sure the studio would pass thanks to the story being “too weird.” There’s no information about whether Johnny Depp would reprise his iconic role or how the film would connect with the original. The same article says the rumored Margot Robbie female focused film isn’t currently in the works. What would you want from a re-boot? More importantly, do you think a re-book could recapture the magic?

Thanks to the challenges of the strikes, CBS will air its Paramount+ series. NCIS: Sydney will begin November 13 on the network. This series is, of course, another spin off of the NCIS franchise, set in Australia.
Social media is abuzz with talking about how epic Olivia Rodrigo’s new album, Guts is. Plus some say her song The Grudge is about Taylor Swift. Have you listened to the pop stars new album? If so, is it worth a listen?
