‘CHRISTMAS CLASS REUNION’: A CUTE SEASONAL FLICK ABOUT FRIENDS

If you like Christmas movies plus ensemble comedies, Christmas Class Reunion may be the ideal watch for you.

Christmas Class Reunion (2022) Hallmark TV Film Review

The class of 2007 is considered, well, cursed. 15 years later, and class president, Elle Chamberlian (Aimee Teegarden) has the same attention to detail. It serves her well in her tech job same as when she was president. Difference now is, unlike her time then, when everything went wrong, she plans to make the 15 year class reunion sparkle.

Once home, she sets out to add the finishing touches, and comes face to face with her former classmates, including the class clown, and the guy who ruined her winter formal, Devin Ryan (Tanner Novlan). She also sees her best friends and the most perfect couple, Jay and Katie (Dejan Loyola, Maya Ford), but it’s her handsome crush Kam (Marshall Williams) Elle is most excited to see.

From the 2022 lineup of films, Christmas Class Reunion is one I started back then, never finished, and found again on my “saved” movies streaming app. Finally, I watched it over, in full, and learned, that like my impression of the movie from then, this one is cute.

It’s another one that will delight anyone who doesn’t want a strict romance, but perhaps doesn’t mind some romance, too. You’ll get friendships and yes, a little love story, too. More than that, you’ll enjoy a charming bit of festive cheer sure to make you smile. I quite enjoyed these characters together. There’s laughter and healing and goodness, all in one combination. All of which is just sweet.

I love the cast who play the characters too. Aimee is good in the roles I see her in, and I really like Tanner Novlan as someone I hadn’t seen prior to this film. The story is a little less big on the Christmas because it’s about planning for this event rather than doing all of the family things, which I also appreciate because it means this one is a little different as a result. In the end, the movie is good and something sure to be a genre pleaser for fans.

Content: Christmas Class Reunion is the normal TV-G rating, but there is a minor “interest” between the same sex if that bothers you.
