On this list my plan is to have a variety of options from different genres. Let’s dive in and see what titles we find that will fit this list.

MY FAVORITE BOOK FROM SERIES I’VE READ

ALWAYS WATCHING and WITHOUT WARNING, LYNETTE EASON

Series: Elite Guardians, four novels

I loved all of these, based on my reviews, but this first and second title were favorites of the year, so I’m going to assume that I considered them favorites. Goodreads

TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE, JENNY HAN

Series: To All the Boys, three novels

I enjoyed all of the books in this series, but I think book one was my favorite, and tis true if my review star ratings are an indicator. Goodreads

HOW TO CATCH A PRINCE, RACHEL HAUCK

Series: The Royal Wedding, four novels

I think I liked book one in this series, but this third novel also got five stars, so we’re featuring it. Goodreads

AN UNCERTAIN CHOICE, JODY HEDLUND

Series: An Uncertain Choice, five novels

If you like YA historical novels that are wholesome and age appropriate, then you may enjoy these. They’re very simple (in the best way) and sweet and cute, and charming. Goodreads

THE GOODBYE BRIDE, DENISE HUNTER

Series: Summer Harbor, four novels

The second novel in Denise’s Summer Harbor series, I just remember this being a touching and tender romance. It’s always far better than the TV film adaptation. Goodreads

THE SOLID GROUNDS COFFEE COMPANY, CARLA LAUREANO

Series: The Supper Club, three novels

The second of three novels, this one gets the highest star rating though outside of remembering I really enjoyed these books, I don’t remember the “why” of which books I enjoy most. Goodreads

COLD SHOT and STILL LIFE, DANI PETTREY

Series: Chesapeake Valor, four novels

Both of these have five-star ratings and are exciting (and jam packed!) mystery novels. Goodreads

GEEK GIRL, HOLLY SMALE

Series: Geek Girl, six novels

Loved book one in the Geek Girl series. It’s just such a light, happy read. Goodreads

THROUGH WATERS DEEP, SARAH SUNDIN

Series: Waves of Freedom, three novels

Historical novels aren’t my thing, but I enjoyed this series (I have one left to read) so much. Especially this book one. So charming. Goodreads

STAY WITH ME, BECKY WADE

Series: Misty River, three novels

According to my review of Let it Be Me (book two), I like book one best. Although I don’t think I finished book three (yet), so there’s always a chance it could nudge it out. Still, based on what I read (which I did enjoy), I think Stay with Me is quite safe in its favorites spot. Goodreads

WHEN I FALL IN LOVE, SUSAN MAY WARREN

Series: Christiansen Family, six novels

One of the best in the series of six, this one tackles tough subjects so it isn’t always happy, but is still a joyful read. Goodreads

    1. I assumed I’d like the first in all of my picks too. But going back to look at the reviews, I didn’t always (star) rate the first book highest. Thanks for visiting today, Susan!

    1. I think I rated all of the books in this series highly. They were all good (as I remember) and I was so impressed with the cover design being unusual for the genre. :)

        1. They have been out a while. But they still read (I think since I FINALLY read book four about a year ago) well and I the cover design just felt “different” for the Christian fiction market. :)

    1. Really? That’s cool! I haven’t read one of hers in eons, but I did enjoy A Noble Groom and I think there was an Orphan Train book I enjoyed too. :)

    1. I enjoyed the other two books in the ‘Boys’ series, Leah, but I had rated book one the highest in stars, so I guess that’s the one I enjoyed most. ;) I think books two and three got a bit “messy” with the whole love triangle thing, and most readers liked the guy LJ doesn’t choose.
