10+ OF THE ROMANCE NOVELS ON MY BOOKSHELF

With Valentine’s Day just around the corner and all of the marketing turns pink and girly, on this week we’re looking at some of the romance-y reads from our shelves. Or that’s the direction I’m going. More specifically, I’m pulling out the romance novels I find that are (mostly) pink, rosy and just pretty. So, here we go, let’s see what we can discover.

10+ OF THE ROMANCE NOVELS ON MY BOOKSHELF. #RomanceBooks #RomanceFiction #Romance Share on X

From popular authors to novels I hope become new novels, here are some of the romance-y novels that haven’t been on my shelf for very long. Bonus if they look ideally perfect to fit in the most perfect Valentine’s shop window display. All this in mind, let’s see what we find.

ROMANCE NOVELS on my BOOKSHELF

JULIETA and the ROMEOS, MARIA E. ANDREU

This is one I started way back when and never finished, but it seems fun and likens its story to You’ve Got Mai, so I mean it should be a fun one right? Goodreads

ARYA KHANNA’S BOLLYWOOD MOMENT, ARUSHI AVACHAT

I don’t own this one, but it looks fun and I love all of the pink which goes nicely with this them. In fact, as I write this, I’m debating whether it’d be one to add to my TBR. It just seems like it’d be a joyful book (about a girl who is trying to navigate a crush, the breakup of her best friends, and her sister’s wedding) and I’m always all about finding a fun new rom-com. Goodreads

ARTIFACTS of an EX, JENNIFER CHEN

Haven’t read anything by Jennifer, but this one is glorious in pink and looks fun. Plus, that title is fabulous! Goodreads

WITTY in PINK, ERICA GEORGE

All the pink… so yes, this one just works. Goodreads

FINDING HER EDGE and WILDCARD, JENNIFER IACOPELLI

Jennifer’s ice skating romance is currently airing on Netflix so I picked up a copy (though I have the Netflix cover version) and then during that, I also preordered the re-issue of Wildcard, which may be a risk, but it looks and sounded so cute, I had to. ‘Edge’ on Goodreads | ‘Wildcard’ on Goodreads

LOVE ME TOMORROW, EMIKO JEAN

Did I just feature this one last week? Yes, but it’s a new release, the story is adorable and it’s a romance, so all told, I think this one fully earns a bit of extra love. Also, yes, I know, there’s very little pink in this design. Goodreads

KISSES and CROISSANTS, ANNE-SOPHIE JOUHANNEAU

List others on this list, I’m sure I’ve already featured this one on a Valentine’s Day list, but it’s so perfect I’m not sure I could skip it. Goodreads

THE DO-OVER, LYNN PAINTER

If I remember right (it’s been a while since I saw this one!), Valentine’s Day is, in part what this centers on, and it’s a fun book. Goodreads

MY SISTER’S BIG FAT INDIAN WEDDING, SAJNI PATEL

I’ve had this one for a long time and it always sounded fun, but I never have read it. Still, it earns a place for all of that bright pink! Goodreads

LAST CHANCE BOOKS, KELSEY RODKEY

I was just re-remined of this one while putting this list together. How cute is this cover art, and how perfectly does it suit this list? I love the details including those little hearts. Goodreads

THE SPY and I, TIANA SMITH

Including this one because it is a: on my shelf, b: all the shades of pink and c: the title alone makes it seem fun! Goodreads

THE FILL-IN BOYFRIEND and ROOM to BREATHE, KASIE WEST

I don’t own this edition of The Fill-in Boyfriend since this is a republish version but look how pink and cute it is? I also recently purchased Room to Breathe and have to include it because of the hot pink text. ‘Boyfriend’ on Goodreads | ‘Breath’ on Goodreads

    1. I liked The Do-Over if I remember right and did enjoy the TV show Finding Her Edge (I think I saw maybe three episodes?), so now maybe I’ll read the book first and then finish the show.

  1. All of these are new to me. I’m loving the titles. Bollywood, yes! Witty in Pink, too cute. My Sister’s Big Fat Indian Wedding. Great list!
