SEVEN BOOK SERIES I WOULD STILL REALLY LIKE TO READ

Hey, there! Back with some silly (most of the time) book chatter. Because we love to have fun (and be mildly controversial, too). Despite having talked about series before – recently, I think, we’re chatting again about some of the book series I still want to read. This is where we’re at and let’s get chatting.

Here’s just a little list of the book series we’re going to look at and some of the ones I’d still like to read. Despite being on my shelf for a long time, I’m still curious about these books. Some, because they have been on my bookshelf for a while, are titles I’ve given up on and will go in my next reorganization. But these are the ones I think will stay. Let me know if any are good – or bad, choices.

BOOK SERIES I STILL WANT TO READ

THE INHERITANCE GAMES, JENNIFER LYNN BARNES

Sounds like a fun concept and like my first two choices, I have more than one book in the series so it would seem a good idea to give book one a chance. The plot is about a girl who’s plan to survive high school is challenged when a mysterious millionaire leaves her his fortune. Goodreads

CHARLOTTE HOLMES, BRITTANY CAVALLARO

I always like Sherlock Holmes type stories. This one follows the grandkids (I think) of Holmes and Watson and just seems like a good time. Goodreads

THE RAJES, SONALI DEV

A modern Jane Austen inspired series, I only own book one so if it’s not my jam, I’ll just move on. Goodreads

FROM KONA WITH LOVE, ANNA GOMEZ AND KRISTOFFER POLAHA

I love Polaha from Hallmark films so reading a series he co-authors could be fun! I think these are set in Hawaii and just seem like they could be swoony and romance-y reads that are also good. Goodreads

THE METCALFES, RONIE KENDIG

It’s been forever and a day since last I read anything by Ronie Kendig. The books I did read by her were military focused and so very good. Curious to read something from her more recent list and see what her books are all about. Goodreads

THE MONTANA MARSHALLS, SUSAN MAY WARREN

Susan is one of these authors that can write any genre. This is a modern series which is primarily what she writes, but she’s also written historical and suspense too. I see lots of people sharing this series on Instagram so I’m curious to say the least. Goodreads

NOBLE LEGACY, SUSAN MAY WARREN

Also by Warren, this series has been on my shelf through many unhauls. Still, something about the series makes me think I’d actually like it (about a trio of siblings). Just have to make the time to read said books. Goodreads

    1. We love some Jane Austen now and then. And I’m definitely always curious enough to read about a Sherlock and Holmes type book. :) Thanks for visiting, Emily.

    1. Good to know, Cindy! Thank you. Ronie’s books, or those I read, were really good. Lots of jumping around locations so sometimes where we are gets confusing but overall, so good. :) Thanks for visiting!!

    1. This is SO me, Pam. I get super excited about a book, have it on preorder and then it sits on my shelf for WEEKS (ok, months) before ever I read it. *Sigh* Something I need to be better about. :) Thanks for visiting!

  1. I read the first Dev book but haven’t continued with the series. I don’t think I realized it was going to be a series when I started it, and although I enjoy retellings, I’m much more into P&P than Austen’s other works.
