Everyone and their mom have been gushing (or not?) over the looks the women (and men!) of the pink carpet have been sporting. If, by some odd chance you haven’t seen the pink carpet, allow us to explain. The pink carpet is the term for the various premieres the cast of Barbie has walked. From its lead star to any number of its many Barbies, there’s been much social media fodder about the looks. This brings us to our publication today, and the necessity that we must talk about the pink carpet fashion from Barbie premieres.

PINK CARPET FASHION from BARBIE PREMIERES
BARBIE EVENTS and PRESS JUNKETS
During her many events and press junkets as part of promoting the Barbie film, Margot Robbie is being praised for her Barbie recreations. A few of these include a hot pink polka dot mini; and a two-piece checked number. During events in Mexico City for the film, Robbie wore a funky and colorful mini dress with crimped hair as well as this all pink long-sleeve mini dress with a chain belt; this two piece and sparkling set is complete with a hat. In Australia, Margot and team opt for a pink mesh dress with a twirly skirt; finally, also in Australia, Margot recreated this iconic 1950s Barbie look in this black striped mini.

In London, Margot Robbie sports the elegant look of Barbie in this “evening Barbie” ensemble that’s all kinds of pretty in pink. With her white stole as an add-in, and lovely pearls, this is perhaps her most classic elegant look of the whole tour. Along with Margot, several cast members also walk the Pink Carpet. Including Emma Mackey; Dua Lipa in a colorful slip dress; Simu Liu; America Ferrera in this sparkling black number; and Ryan Gosling, too.

I’m living for these premieres, they are everything, I love everyone’s wardrobe, Margot looks perfect, but so do America and Ryan. It looks like they are having fun
It does! And Margot is taking the whole Barbie theme to new heights. :)
That last look, the suit with the flat hat — I HAVE that Barbie outfit! In fact, it’s what my very first Barbie came with. What a great throwback to the early ’80s!
How fun! I don’t think I ever had a Barbie per se. (I had a Belle and Ariel doll and even had the Anastasia doll when the film was released.) So these ensembles aren’t familiar to me, but it’s fun that they played it up even at the red carpet and photo events. :)
