MORE ENTERTAINING HALLOWEEN TV EPISODES


It’s become a tradition to curate lists that feature some TV episodes that celebrate the seasonal days we all celebrate through the year. This time around, we’re looking at some of the Halloween TV episodes we’ve seen featured in seasons of our favorite shows. If you’re like me, and you’ve seen a TV show at least once from start to finish, sometimes it’s fun to watch one episode here and there. Such as a spooky Halloween episode during the spooky season.

We’re going to look at both American dramas and ½ hour TV sitcoms to find a list of shows that fit. If some seem missing, you can also browse our 2022 Halloween TV episodes. Let’s look into the TV shows we watch and enjoy to see if there is some spooky episodes we can pick out and enjoy on this upcoming spooky day. Because sometimes rather than watch a whole season, we just want to revisit a funny or favorite TV episode from a favorite TV show.


HALLOWEEN TV EPISODES [2023 EDITION]


CASTLE

EPISODES: ‘Demons,’ Season Four, Episode 6 and ‘PhDead,’ Season Eight, Episode 3

In a show that always has fun with Halloween, ‘Demons’ follows the case of a ghost hunter’s murder; and ‘PhDead,’ though its synopsis doesn’t mention Halloween, it follows Castle undercover as a professor!

HART OF DIXIE

EPISODES: ‘The Undead and the Unsaid,’ Season One, Episode 6 and ‘Walkin’ After Midnight,’ Season Two, Episode 5

Zoe hits someone who she learns is, actually, already dead, and in the second episode, Zoe grows concerned over strange happenings only to realize that George may be a sleepwalker! Also, if you like Sweet Magnolias, this is a great show to binge in between seasons. halloween tv episodes

GILMORE GIRLS

EPISODE: ‘Twenty-One Is the Loneliest Number,’ Season Six, Episode 7

While it’s Rory’s birthday that gets the most attention, part of the description of this reads that Lorelai tries to coerce Luke into participating in her Halloween schemes.

MURDER, SHE WROTE

EPISODE: ‘Reflections of the Mind,’ Season Two, Episode 6

My mom enjoys cozy mysteries, so I’ve seen the entire run of this TV show. This episode has its titular novelist, Jessica, visiting an old friend now married to a much younger man, who believes she’s being haunted by her first husband.

NCIS

EPISODES: ‘Witch Hunt,’ Season Four, Episode 6 and ‘Murder 2.0,’ Season Six, Episode 6

In season four, the plot reads that the Gibbs team investigates a case during Halloween while Abby engages in her usual shenanigans, in a way that makes her co-workers do a double take; then in season six, the team deals with another case.

PUSHING DAISIES

EPISODE: ‘Girth,’ Season One, Episode 5

This entire show isn’t just quirky, it’s a perfectly light-hearted show for this time of year no matter what episode you catch. This one actually says it’s set during Halloween and features the lead characters tracking down a murderous ghost.

REVENGE

EPISODE: ‘Masquerade,’ Season Two, Episode 18

Though the episode airs in May, the plot of this episode says it follows a Halloween masquerade ball hosted by the Grayson’s. The former ABC show is a twisty TV show about revenge and a loose re-telling of the Dumas The Count of Monte Cristo story. halloween tv episodes
