SOME OF THE BOOKS ON THE BUCKET LIST TRAVEL LOCALES!
Chances are, all of us have a list of places we’d really like to visit. The common term for some of these, especially those that seem more out of reach, would be bucket list places or trips. I feel like no matter where we live, the beautiful places we have in our own country, well, those feel more realistic versus those that require 10 hours on a flight. Perhaps we won’t ever see some of these places, but the (mostly) fun news is, we can visit them through the pages of a book that, sometimes, turns out to be a new favorite. So, in the spirit of today’s topic ask, let’s discover some of those bucket list travels we can see in our fictional books!

SOME OF THE BOOKS ON THE BUCKET LIST TRAVEL LOCALES! #Travel #Books #Fiction #TopTenList #BookList Share on XFor me, while even some places I’d like to visit inside the states seem less likely than others, the places that really feel, and honestly are, out of reach are those overseas. As a result, I’m pretty sure all of the books featured below will be across the pond. Now I just need to decide it I want to focus on just one place or feature a few such places. Grab the passport and let’s take a quick trip (or two!).
BUCKET LIST PLACES to VISIT through BOOKS
RULES of MURDER, JULIANNA DEERING an English estate
THE OTHER BENNET SISTER, JANICE HADLOW longbourn
AUSTENLAND, SHANNON HALE and THE AUSTEN ESCAPE, KATHERINE REAY a British destination

LOVE YOUR LIFE, SOPHIE KINSELLA an Italian getaway
A PORTRAIT of EMILY PRICE, KATHERINE REAY an Italian getaway
ANNE of GREEN GABLES, L.M. MONTGOMERY Prince Edward Island
CODE WORD ROMANCE, CARLI WALKER an Italian getaway
LOVE and LUCK, JENNA EVANS WELCH Ireland
*As a note about this list, I blame most of these locations on my long-standing viewing (and re-watching) of BBC or other British productions of period dramas like Jane Austen or Charles Dickens!

Haha the UK does have some beautiful places. I’m in the South East in Kent and we have beautiful countryside and old houses!
A great list.
Have a great week!

I have no doubt it does! :)
Sometimes we take it for granted, but when you take a step back we are actually very lucky.
We all do this sometimes! But usually something reminds us to take that step back. :)
Ireland would be an amazing place to visit. Thanks for stopping by earlier.
It would indeed! So amazing (and it looks stunning). :)
If I ever made it to Canada I’d definitely go to Prince Edward Island
Thanks for sharing your #TTT
Right? It looks gorgeous!
I’m sure I will never get to most of the places on my bucket list so I am so thankful that I can travel via book! Love your list!
I have the same mentality (of never seeing most of these places) but it’s fun to think *maybe*. :)
I keep hearing a lot about The Other Bennett Sister. I’m going to have to try it.
I think I’m going to too! It looks interesting. :)
Great list! I defo want to visit Ireland as well one day. I’m currently reading The Other Bennet Sister (very slowly) but I’m enjoying it. I didn’t think I’d ever empathise or relate so much with Mary, but I love her character! This does shine a very different light on the Bennet family, though… I can’t wait to watch the series :)
I’m eager to see The Other Bennet Sister series too but think maybe I should try to read the book first! We’ll see. Time will tell if I give it a chance and what I’d think. Glad to know you’re enjoying. :)
I would love to visit England and PEI some day! Great list, Rissi!
Right? They look seem beautiful albeit in different ways. :)
I’ve made it to Scotland and Ireland, but not England or Wales. They are definitely on my bucket list. I’ll have to check out that book set in Wales, they are hard to find.
Hope you enjoy the places you still want to visit. :) Cool that you made it to Scotland and Ireland (they sure look gorgeous). :)
I’m discovering so many great books on today’s TTT posts! Italy is so beautiful, and the romance stories set there are always so beautiful :)
Always fun to visit these lists for the possibility of new reading. :)
I would love to visit PEI and England. I’ve made my husband smile when I’ve mentioned that if I ever get to England, I would rather visit places like the Cotswolds than London.
Here’s my TTT for the week: https://readbakecreate.com/books-set-in-iceland-books-set-in-bucket-list-locations/
Both seem like they would offer stunning things to see! I’d have to decide where I’d go in England, but I’d probably like to see London though I suspect I’d rather spend most of my time somewhere quieter. ;)
Ahh, Prince Edward Island is on my bucket list too precisely because of the Anne books. One day!
It looks SO stunning! :)
fun settings
Indeed. :)
