On the Amazon Prime Watch-list Part 2: Romance, Comedy and More!
It’s been a minute (or two!) since last I rambled and shared what I’m watching on Amazon Prime. Since I shared a similar publication with Netflix as its topic, I thought it only right to finally give the Amazon Prime service its due. Thus the write-up of this watching on Amazon Prime part 2 list sees daylight.
LIST | The Favorite Workplace Romance OTPs!
On this list is kind of an eclectic variety of things. Really, isn’t this always true of what I’m watching? We all love some variety. But any-way, time to get back to the topic at hand and the actual titles of my “in progress” or recent binges on Amazon Prime. There’s funny, drama and a dash of romance, too (after all it is my favorite).
Let’s do this thing.
What I’m Watching on Amazon Prime Part 2
1: Blood and Treasure
Binged this one with my mom this past spring, and it’s so much fun. Lots of adventure (follows treasure hunters and law enforcement as they try to unravel the mystery of a stolen artifact) – and the romance in season one is on point in so many of its faucets. Needless to say, I’m impressed. Hope the follow up season is more of the same.
TV-14 for sexual content, tense moments and commonplace profanity; some episodes probably pass as TV-PG
On the Amazon Prime Watch-list Part 2: Romance, Comedy and More! What I'm watching and liking on #AmazonPrime. #Watchlist #WhattoWatch #Movies #TVShows #TV Share on X2: Cougar Town
Hit play on the first episode of this one at random. The story of a 40-year-old divorcee and her neighbors is all kinds of ridiculous and flawed, but the half-hour comedy is also just a “mindless” good time for the viewer.
TV-14, this one shifts between its higher end rating and TV-PG; there’s plenty of innuendo and sexual content
3: Chuck
Started this one so long ago, and while I still love the tech-guy-turns-super-spy story (also Zachary Levi is adorable in the role), I just haven’t made time to finish this in its entirety. Must remedy this soon-ish. (And yes, I realize this was on my last ‘watch list’ publication.)
TV-14, this one shifts between its higher end rating and TV-PG; there’s some innuendo, and suggestive visuals, but overall, it’s a fun show
4: The Durrells in Corfu
A British series about a proper English family who moves to Corfu, I finally did finish this one, and though it ends in a bittersweet way, up until then, this is a relatively light-hearted show with fun characters!
TV-PG, -14 is the rating for this one; there’s lots of innuendo, but nothing graphic
5: Grantchester
Another British production, this one follows the unlikely duo of a vicar and police inspector who solve crimes in the 1950s.
TV-14 for sexual content and thematic elements [adult situations like abuse and of course, the show revolves around murders]
6: Heartland
I talk about this one (too much?), but it’s a sweet family themed drama not unlike the type of thing you might see on Hallmark. It follows the lives of a family on a Canadian ranch, including the ups and downs of their lives, and the loves in the lives of the Flemming sisters.
This one is pretty family-friendly with a TV-PG rating
7: Psych
Oh, look! Another TV show I started years ago, and never made it to the end. Despite this, I’d like to because Psych is one of those shows that while it does fall into the “crime drama” genre (very loosely), it’s 100% a comedy and does a good job with it, even if it does come off as slapstick sometimes. watching on amaozn prime part 2
TV-14 is the standard rating for this USA Network show
8: Ugly Betty
And we finish with another show I haven’t yet finished – ooops! It’s honestly not that I want to finish these shows, it’s just that I get caught up in new-to-me shows (*cough* Cougar Town *cough*). No matter what, I do love what I’ve seen of this one so far.
BONUS! My Spy (Movie)
Review for this one is incoming, but I had to include it.
PG-13 is the rating

Definitely finish Psych – it’s so good, we finished a rewatch recently. Now we need to get Peacock so we can watch the second movie!
Thanks for the nudge! I’m definitely excited to watch more because it looks fun. :)
