BritBox dropped A Taste for Murder this past week with two episodes. The lighthearted crime drama is charming and lovely (those views soften everything!), which follows a detective who, while vacationing in Capri, gets pulled into investigations with the locals.


Hallmark unveiled its poster image for their upcoming Christmas movie (in 2026) Holiday Ever After. This marks the first collaboration the network has had with Disney. The film will star fan favorite Lacey Chabert.

Dropping on May 15, is the drama It’s Not Like That. Originally available with the Wonder Project subscription, the Scott Foley drama will make its (global) debut on Prime Video on that May date. The announcement was made April 8, and according to Prime Video follows Foley’s lead character, “Malcolm, a pastor who is a recently widowed dad of three. Lori (Erinn Hayes) is newly divorced with two teens. Their families once did everything together, but now Malcolm and Lori must navigate their newly minted singledom with parenthood. Is this the beginning of a love story? It’s not like that. Or is it?” (via Amazon MGM Studios)

The show will also feature J.R. Ramirez, Caleb Baumann, Cary Christopher, Leven Miranda, Liv Lindell, and Cassidy Paul. Fox has renewed its freshman drama Memory of a Killer with Patrick Dempsey in the lead. It joins the renewal ranks of fellow freshman drama Best Medicine while Fox’s murder mystery drama Murder in a Small Town awaits its status.


UPtv announced this week that a second season for their procedural Blue Skies is coming. The UP Faith and Family “original drama series” is a new favorite mystery that “blends mystery and action with emotional storytelling and the heartwarming bond between a detective and her canine companion.” The first season features Scarlet Hunter, Markian Tarasiuk, Veronica Long, David Lennon, Darius Willia and Shaughnessy Redden.


Dropping today is the Malcolm in the Middle: Life’s Still Unfair four-part event (all four episodes are a binge drop) and yes, we will have a feature for it later today. Are you going to watch it?
