MARCH AND APRIL 2023 CONTENT RECAP
Why, hello, there! It’s Sunday and usually, the content on Sundays is different. Given it’s the thirtieth and final day of the this month, we have to follow the tradition of another post instead. It’s that point again where we look at our content and recap it all in our normal two-month combination. This particular two-month feature is for our March and April 2023 recap. We put these together as a way to look back at the happenings (usually only in the website’s life since I do nothing cool) and share what we enjoyed putting together.

✨ MARCH AND APRIL 2023 RECAP: RECAPPING THE CONTENT OF THE LAST TWO MONTHS. PLUS TALKING THE FAVORITE THINGS I PUBLISHED. #RECAP #CONTENTRECAP #MONTHRECAP #HAPPYMAY #HELLOMAY #NEWCONTENT #BLOGGINGRECAP #BLOGRECAP Share on XMonth five (almost…) of 2023, and while some of us do like winter, I’m waiting for the warmer temperatures to descend on a more permanent basis. So far, we’re in a kind of roller coaster. First before we get to the recap part, we’re again sharing about the change in a more concise manner in case you missed it from our first 2023 recap.
A 2.0 REBRAND CHANGE AND LOOK
Earlier this year, we finally went ahead with our little “rebrand” which has been in contemplation since fall of 2022. It was also one of those things to keep shoving aside because it didn’t seem “important” or maybe, just wasn’t “ready” and therefore I didn’t want to do anything to challenge the norm. However, finally I did put it out into the world. It was a long process, and not everything is final yet, so there’s still dust to clean up, but I’m hoping this sticks because the “getting here” was long and annoying.
The “look” will change slightly more than what it is now because I have to change out the “background” theme since the company I have one from now is no longer in existence. This means there aren’t new updates to keep up with the changes happening on platforms now. Just have to pick one that suits. What’s your favorite theme company?

(Blog posts that, while not necessarily the most popular, were fun to write)
1: [APRIL] 20 PERIOD DRAMAS ON AMAZON PRIME YOU MAY WANT TO SEE: APRIL 2023 | Our annual list of Amazon period drama availability continues! What have you found available on Prime?
2: [APRIL] ACTORS IN ROLES BEFORE THEY WERE FAMOUS! | This was quite fun and something I’d already like to “update” given I’ve thought of a decent number of additional names that would fit.
3: [MARCH] ‘ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL,’ SERIES THREE: A WORLD IN DARKNESS INVADES | Because this show charms.
4: [MARCH] ‘ELVIS’: THE BIOPIC MOVIE WITH OSCAR HYPE | This one was (is?) so hyped and was essentially Austin Butler’s breakout role. While I didn’t love it in the way I would something I’ve rewatched a million times, this is one easy to understand the hype for.
5: [APRIL] FIVE WAYS MISS FISHER AND JACK PROVE THEY’RE THE BEST DUO | From what I gather on Twitter, this is very much a disagreeable opinion (and unfair for certain reasons). But then I’m used to my opinions not being popular so I guess we’ll continue with this line of thought. *smile* What do you think about this couple?
6: [MARCH] ‘FREE GUY’: A REALLY FUN POPCORN FLICK | Ryan Reynolds. Enough said.
7: [MARCH] ‘THE GILDED AGE’: SCANDAL AND SECRETS IN SENSATIONAL DRAMA | Finally watched this Julian Fellowes period drama. Is it flawed? Absolutely but I’ll confess I did adore it. Mainly because it’s been a while since I saw a good soapy period drama and when time passes as it did, I forget just how much I enjoy these.
8: [APRIL] RANKING THE BEST 20+ FAVORITE TAYLOR SWIFT SONGS | Because this was long overdue. Even though I’m already reorganizing favorites/additions in my head.
9: [MARCH] TAYLOR SWIFT ERAS TOUR CONCERT OUTFIT INSPIRATION AND IDEAS | Combining my passing interest in fashion with a TRENDING name, and this post was published.
10: [APRIL] ‘A TOURIST’S GUIDE TO LOVE’: A COLORFUL BUT NOT MEMORABLE NETFLIX ROM-COM | Not my most favorite from Netflix, but still cute.
11: [MARCH] ‘WATERMELON’: A QUIRKY AND SO-SO INDIE ROMANCE | A quirky but still mostly sweet drama in a movie with Anna Friel from Pushing Daisies.
12: [MARCH] ‘THE WAY HOME,’ SEASON ONE: THE FIRST TV SHOW IN HALLMARK’S REBRAND | Pretty sure I’m the only one who didn’t immediately fall for this show. Don’t get me wrong, I do think it’s a good watch. It’s just not all I anticipated it being.
