RANKING (MORE) HALLMARK CHRISTMAS MOVIES 2022, PART TWO

If this seems familiar or as if I already publishing a Hallmark ranking of Christmas movies, you aren’t wrong. What’s different today is that this is a follow up ranking the other titles I’ve seen since putting that part one together, and I just may smash them all together in this post (depends on my time and energy) to form this ranking Hallmark Christmas movies 2022, part two. Because yes I’ve seen more than when publishing that earlier December list.

I managed to see more than I anticipated I could or would make time for. Still we love annual and seasonal content and while Christmas is over, it’s still winter and we can still have some fun continuing to feature Christmas movies. Plus we make the rules and keeping a little bit of magic going with some Christmas movie fun seems like a great way to do this. Let’s look at what else I’ve seen and what I think of them. Here we go.

Here’s the titles from my earlier December rankings list from least to most favorite. NOEL NEXT DOOR | JOLLY GOOD CHRISTMAS | UNDERCOVER HOLIDAY | INVENTING THE CHRISTMAS PRINCE | A BIG FAT FAMILY CHRISTMAS | THE ROYAL NANNY | THREE WISE MEN AND A BABY | A SOUTHERN FAMILY CHRISTMAS | A HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR | #XMAS

Ranking from least to most favorite

HAUL OUT THE HOLLY

Possibly my least favorite out of all of the Christmas movies I watched this year. Favorite Lacey Chabert stars in this about a woman returning home who is tasked with her parent’s Christmas HOA duties. The film is just too much and leans too much into the silly. But at the same time, I think the only way this plot works is SILLINESS. Did you love this one? What some will enjoy are the cameos.

A KISMET CHRISTMAS

Magical cookies? Yeah. Not my thing. I mean the idea is cute, plus many will love seeing Carlos Marks, but just not a favorite.

THE GHOSTS OF CHRISTMAS ALWAYS

I didn’t manage to finish this one so I could possibly like this one more (or maybe less). I’ve read some decent reviews and it did surprise viewers. Hoping this trend is true for me as well. hallmark christmas movies 2022 part two

THE MOST COLORFUL TIME OF THE YEAR

Christopher Russell stars as a hero discovering Christmas joys.

CHRISTMAS CLASS REUNION

Aimee Teagarden leads the cast as a perfectionist who’s high school social life didn’t end up. To help make up for this she’s determined to make her Christmas class reunion party perfect.

WHEN I THINK OF CHRISTMAS

This one isn’t my most favorite ever, but I have a soft spot for it because I think the music elements do work in this film and I like the cast which includes Shenae Grimes-Beech and Niall Matter.

CHRISTMAS AT THE GOLDEN DRAGON

Way better than I anticipated, this multi-story flick is heartwarming and sweetly, but subtly romantic. All while managing to keep family at its center.

  1. I haven’t seen many of these but I hope to catch up on them on Netflix if they are on there. If not, there’s always Xmas in July or October. Happy New Year Rissi!
