RANKING JEN LILLEY’S HALLMARK MOVIES

If you’ve tuned into Hallmark for any length of time or are a common watcher, you know there’s lots of familiar faces there. One of them is the lovely Jen Lilley. Often playing the likable and charming girl-next-door character, Jen has been a Hallmark regular since 2017. This is why we’re taking on the ranking Jen Lilley Hallmark movies. Just because it seems like a fun idea.

Prior to 2017, Lilley appears in some random guest TV appearances, and she stars in the popular TV Christmas film The Spirit of Christmas back in 2015. Also known for her social media Christmas is Not Cancelled campaigns, and mom to four kids, it’s safe to say Lilley is a multi-faceted woman with plenty of interests and talents. I haven’t seen every single one of the film’s she plays in on Hallmark, but I’ve seen quite a few and will rely on you to tell me which ones to see yet. Let’s get to the list of Lilley’s many Hallmark originals and talk about which ones we like best.

RANKING JEN LILLEY HALLMARK MOVIES

Ranking from least to most favorite

A DASH OF LOVE (2017)

Likely a favorite of many, this one pairs Jen with Chesapeake Shores actor Brendan Penny and is, as its title suggests, a movie about cooking.

EAT, PLAY LOVE (2017)

Honestly, I don’t really remember this one and would guess it, along with our next title, is pretty much in a tie. I’m not one who really gets into the rom-coms with animals. But MANY do, which is why I suspect they crop up in the lineups here and there.

LOVE UNLEASHED (2019)

Much like the film above this, Love Unleashed is, from all that I remember, an average pick for me. I didn’t hate it. I didn’t love it. But it’s one of multiple films Lilley has co-starred in with Christopher Russell.

PARIS, WINE AND ROMANCE (2019)

Cute and sweet, this one isn’t memorable in a long term way, but is has sweet moments and a fun meet-cute.

SNOWKISSED (2021)

I cannot remember a lot about this one either, but I think it was a sweet story.

HARVEST LOVE (2017)

Pairing up with Ryan Paevey, this one, as I remember (it’s been a long time) was a favorite of mine. Fun plot and the setting was pretty (autumn) plus I like both of the leads.

YES, I DO (2018)

How well I enjoyed the is one surprised me. It’s a cute film with a common trope that’s actually really good.

WINTER LOVE STORY (2019)

Kevin McGarry, one of the newer additions to When Calls the Heart co-stars with Lilley in this and the movie is one of those cozy winter romance stories that is sure to be a nice post-Christmas watch. Surprisingly, I also like the road trip angle.

MINGLE ALL THE WAY (2018)

The fact that this is set at Christmas isn’t a factor in why I like it. Despite not loving this entire cast, this one has a fun concept about dating and an app that pairs people for the short span of the holiday season so they aren’t alone.

WHERE YOUR HEART BELONGS (2022)

I finally watched this one recently and honestly was surprised by how cute it is. Lilley pairs (again) with Christopher Russell and plays a sort of obsessed social media user (for her work) who is forced to unplug and remember how to slow down.

USS CHRISTMAS (2020)

Though two of her Christmas movies are higher on my list, the fact that they’re Christmas movies has nothing to do with this. (I never have understood why Christmas movies are more popular than any other of Hallmark’s – and it’s kind of out of hand at this point.) This one wins because I like Jen Lilley and her co-star Trevor Donovan, and I like that it’s one of the rare Hallmark films that honors the military.
