THE ‘SPRING INTO LOVE’ HALLMARK MOVIES – RANKING THESE HAPPY ROMANCES
The banner under which the Hallmark movies with spring florals and new beginnings premiere has changed over the years. But the themes and typical hallmarks of the stories remain the same. Today, as we prepare for the first May movie premiere of 2026 (ps; check back later today for thoughts on Kentucky Roses), we are going to look back on the Spring into Love movies and how I rank them!

THE ‘SPRING INTO LOVE’ HALLMARK MOVIES – RANKING THESE HAPPY ROMANCES. Looking at the #SpringIntoLove romance movies through the years. #Hallmark Share on XFirst these aired under the Spring Fling title from years as far back as 2016 through 2021. Then starting in 2022, the banner swapped (and remains this) to Spring Into Love. I am going to eliminate the Spring Fling titles from this list today because the length has to be cut somewhere, but there should still be some great titles to feature even skipping these!
So, considering the 2026 titles and titles from years past, let’s do something fun and rank the spring romance titles from Hallmark!
NOTE: As we move forward with this list, I’m adding my typical disclaimer (because the Internet has opinions and isn’t always kind), which is to say this is all in fun. Just because a title ranks “last” on my list doesn’t mean it wasn’t cute or that there won’t be hundreds of viewers who loved the film. This is great! All this means is, the film didn’t stand out as a new favorite, which is also, totally fine. There are so many movies in the world for many reasons, and one of them is that there is something for everyone.
RANKING the SPRING INTO LOVE HALLMARK MOVIES
Ranking from least to most favorite
A ROYAL RUNAWAY ROMANCE, 2022
Synopsis: Princess Amelia of Bundbury travels across America to explore a budding romance with an artist, only to fall in love with her bodyguard Grady. – via Hallmark+
JOURNEY to YOU, 2024
Synopsis: After missing out on a promotion, Monica reluctantly walks the Camino de Santiago at the urging of her mother. She’s surprised when along the way she finds inner peace and an unexpected romance. – via Hallmark+
WHEN LOVE SPRINGS, 2023
Synopsis: When Rory arrives at a quaint B&B on the lake for the vow renewal of her parents, she runs into her ex who broke her heart. Panicked, she pretends the B&B owner is her new boyfriend. – via Hallmark+
THE WEDDING COTTAGE, 2023
A fan favorite from the 2023 Spring Into Love titles, I probably am unpopular for this placement here on this ranking. The story is about a wedding guide who convinces an artist having a hard time to renovate a special cottage. This one just didn’t totally work for me. I have reasons why, but it has two favorite stars in Erin Krakow and Brendan Penny so I know many will love it!
Synopsis: A wedding guide creator must convince an uninspired artist and owner of a special wedding cottage to renovate the run down cottage to host a contest winning couple for their dream wedding. – via Hallmark+
JUST ONE KISS, 2022
I cannot remember all of the specifics of this one, but do remember it was a little bit unique and sweet. There is an old-fashion feel to it because of the dancing element.
Synopsis Sparks fly between professor Mia and lounge singer Tony through a series of chance encounters. Little do they know their mothers are scheming to set them up. – via Hallmark+
BLIND DATE BOOK CLUB, 2024
Cute, yes, what I remember about this one is I expected to enjoy it even more than I did. Still, the fact that Erin Krakow’s leading lady, Meg, owns a book shop is lovely as is Robert Buckley’s author hero.

Synopsis: A bookstore owner finds love and direction in life after agreeing to review a famous author’s new novel in her blind-date-with-a-book club. – via Hallmark+
A ROYAL SETTING, 2026
Sweet, cute and easy to watch, this one reunites Jen Lilley (playing a talented gemologist) and Dan Jeannotte (playing a handsome prince).
Synopsis: Ruby, a world-renowned gemologist, is hired by Prince Luca to restore the crown jewels and design his crown, challenging tradition and complicating his relationship with his mother, the queen.– via Hallmark+
AN EASTER BLOOM, 2024
About all I remember about this one is that I admired the script having the hero be a pastor, which is an unusual profession for a leading man.
Given its Easter time setting, this Spring Into Love title is a great fit, and is actually one of the titles I’m wavering on in this ranking list.

Synopsis: A young gardener sets out to save her family farm by entering a floral competition for Easter. She meets a local pastor along the way who helps her restore the hope she lost. – via Hallmark+
HEARTS in the GAME, 2023
This one surprised me more than I thought following a publicist who falls for a pitcher who is looking to rebrand after a World Series fail that still haunts him.
Synopsis: A NYC publicist helps an MLB pitcher find his way back to the game and to her heart. – via Hallmark+
A PICTURE of HER, 2023
I have always liked the titles with Tyler Hynes, and this one is sweet, but it’s not my most favorite with him. It follows a photographer who befriends the subject of one of his candid (and unintentionally famous) photos.
Synopsis: Beth unwittingly becomes the subject of an award-winning magazine’s cover and goes on a quest to uncover the true identity of the mystery photographer who snapped her photo. – via Hallmark+
A SEASON to BLOSSOM, 2026
This title feels more like the old-fashion movie you’d find on Hallmark about a woman settling the affairs of her grandma’s estate but feeling listless while trying to pursue her dreams. There is a childhood crush too!

Synopsis: A drifting aspiring writer returns to sell her late grandmother’s bookstore, but its traditions – and her childhood crush – helps her rediscover her voice, her roots, and a love worth staying for. – via Hallmark+
HEARTS AROUND the TABLE, 2025 four-movie series
This series of four films that tells the stories of four foster siblings is a great deal sweeter than I anticipated. Each film showcases a sibling and the person they fall in love with. The series features stars like Steve Lund, Brendan Morgan, Jake Epstein, Kathryn Davis, and Torrance Coombs.
Synopsis: Jenna plans a charity event for Billionaire Tom Redlands. But working with Tom’s right hand Andrew is proving difficult, especially since Jenna and Andrew have a romantic history. – via Hallmark+
LOVE in the MALDIVES, 2023
Cannot remember the details of this one, but it features a real-life couple (Jocelyn Hudon, Jake Manley) and follows a travel columnist who finds her single lifestyle challenged when she meets her match.

Synopsis: A travel writer goes to the Maldives and hears about a legendary shipwreck. With the help of her underwater resort’s guest experience expert, she might discover love instead of a buried treasure. – via Hallmark+
TO PHILLY with LOVE, 2026
Sprinkled with just the right amount of mystery, this film feels a little like a hybrid of Hallmark’s two genres which is their typical Saturday rom-com and their cozy mysteries. It’s quite cute and follows two history aficionados who chase secrets from old love letters.
Synopsis: A teacher and an archivist decode Revolutionary War-era love letters, taking them on a thrilling journey through Philadelphia where they uncover history and discover a love story of their own. – via Hallmark+
A LITTLE PARK MUSIC, 2026
This one has a touch of magic (albeit very realistic) and follows a city manager and a local cop who try to work out why and who keeps leaving a piano in a gazebo that is scheduled for demolition. It’s also a really nice fit in the Spring Into Love titles, and I’m honestly conflicted with where to rank this one!
Synopsis: When a piano appears in the park gazebo, interfering with important work, city manager Allie joins forces with rookie cop Ryan to remove it, only to find both music and love are hard to resist. – via Hallmark+
SHIFTING GEARS, 2024
Another Tyler Hynes led title, this one follows his character, Luke, who winds up being the main competition of his ex in a car restoration show. Based on what I remember, this one is a little more unique not just from the Spring Into Love campaign, but also its other peers which gives it a higher ranking.

Synopsis: After female mechanic Jess reluctantly agrees to participate in a car restoration show, she is shocked to learn that her ex-boyfriend, Luke, is her main competitor. Will sparks reignite? – via Hallmark+
THE PROFESSIONAL BRIDESMAID, 2023
This one is delightful and so fun! It has two lesser used Hallmark stars in the leads (Hunter King, Chandler Massey) which for me always adds an unexplained energy that works so well. The story is also unique about a heroine who uses her unique organizational skills and business acumen to become a bridesmaid for hire.
Synopsis: When a Professional Bridesmaid books a high-profile wedding, she must keep her true identity a secret, not only from the wedding party but also from the handsome reporter covering the event. – via Hallmark+
A PINCH of PORTUGAL, 2023
I remember loving the scenery, adventure and fabulous cast in this one! It has Heather Hemmens and Luke Mitchell, and again, as we all know, I love the lesser-known Hallmark faces leading this one which is part of its appeal as is its Portuguese location.

Synopsis: When a celebrity chef walks off his show, prep cook Anna must step into the spotlight and make the show her own, with the help of her Aussie cameraman and Portuguese location scout. – via Hallmark+
I’LL be SEEING YOU, 2026
Heavily hyped, this Spring into Love title is very sweet, and is an easy one to place higher in the ranking. It has Tyler Hynes in the lead and also sees him serve as an EP. It’s a road trip romance that focuses on other relationships outside of the romance, but the movie has a little bit deeper connection in the romance which is probably due to Hynes and Stacey Farber’s talented performances.

Synopsis: When a work errand derails Amy’s weekend plans with her grandma, they embark on a road trip with one sentimental detour but need the help of a charming activities director. – via Hallmark+
TWO for TEE, 2026
This one, I think, is my favorite out of all of the Spring Into Love titles. I mean, ask me tomorrow and I may have a different perspective. But today, this is where I’m at.

The film has a creative bent and also a surprise or two. The plot follows an artist and a new hire at the community center where she volunteers. The film has nice themes, a good pace, and solid connection between these characters.
Synopsis: Tee is a Chinese American pottery artist who meets new community center handyman Will. As she learns about her family’s traditions through art, can she and Will save the center from closure? – via Hallmark+
