Hey, there! It’s Time for our usual every two month recap of May and June 2022 recap of content. This even includes content that I thought was super fun to put together. Basically, we’re just looking back at what’s been and what readers looked at most, too.

LIST | A SHORT & FUN SUMMER MOVIES LIST YOU MAY WANT TO SEE

Here we are, first half of the year are gone (is anyone ok with this?)! Cannot believe this, but regardless, let’s do this thing. Time for another rewind of our content.  

»NEW DISCOVERIES AND SUCH«

1: Computer. Got a new computer (desktop) for the house and golly, it’s the same but also an adjustment from what I had. Super nice to have a bigger screen too, now I just have to get used to a keyboard that is SLIGHTLY different than my other’s placement. Also, while I 100% did not need it, it is kind of fun to have a touch screen.

2: Life. I never have anything cool to report because I never do anything fun. I’m a very boring type of girl who literally focuses on work and what that entails. It’s not necessarily hard work, but this type of stuff is SUPER time consuming and to have social media say “nope,” you’re not worth featuring… well, that’s a slap of cold water. Nonetheless, like I said, I just never have anything to say as regards to fun experiences.

3: Movies. I saw about three of the “popular” movies many on social media heralded recently. This includes The Lost City; Marry Me; and The Valet. I linked each one and you guys know I had thoughts! Come by and tell me what YOURS are.

3: [May] CUTE 4TH OF JULY FASHION IDEAS: ALL THE RED, WHITE AND BLUE! | Because if anyone else is like me, even if you’re home, you still like sporting the red, white and blue!

4: [May] A FUN SUMMER PLAYLIST TO LISTEN TO + FIND ON SPOTIFY | Always love a good listen!

5: [May] IS SOCIAL MEDIA THE ACCEPTED TOWN HALL? | All about those discussion posts!

6: [June] ‘MARRY ME’: ONE GLITTER INSPIRED ROMANCE THAT MUST SETTLE IN | I did have a couple issues with this film that everyone adores, but most of all, I did enjoy Marry Me and while it may not read as my most enthusiastic review, it is fun.

7: [June] REJECT CULTURE AND ITS MESSAGE. PRAY OFTEN. PRAY ALWAYS. PRAY SINCERELY. | Told ya’, been trying to publish more discussion type posts.

8: [June] A SHORT & FUN SUMMER MOVIES LIST YOU MAY WANT TO SEE | Because sometimes we just want to watch a fun summer-y film!

9: [June] ‘TERROR ON THE PRAIRIE’: ONE GRITTY & RAW WESTERN | Watched the latest from Daily Wire in June, and while gritty (and sometimes a bit “western” graphic), I did think it was good.

10: [June] TO ASK A QUESTION: WHAT IF GOD ISN’T IN CONTROL? | Most likely a perspective that ruffles feathers, but I like thinking critically and am NOT into buying everything any kind of thing a pastor (or leader) says. Because of this, something like this is interesting and challenging but good for me to write.

11: [May] ‘TOP GUN’ (1986): THE MOVIE THAT MADE AN ACTION STAR | Finally saw this – for the FIRST time ever!

12: [June] ‘YOURS, MINE AND OURS’: THE FAMILY COMEDY THAT’S STILL FUNNY | Because sometimes you just need a solid throwback movie.

THROWBACK FAVORITES | aka the section in which we take a peek at what I was writing about or posting this time last year.

‘HIDDEN IN PLAIN SIGHT’: AN INDIE PRODUCTION ABOUT FEELING SAFE. The 2019 film with Victoria Barabas currently on Netflix.
